Is Canada Guilty of Funding Terrorism?

There are reports floating about that the Trudeau government may be funding terrorism. Perhaps not directly, but money provided by the Federal Liberal party to certain Muslim groups may be finding its way ultimately to the known terror organisation Hamas.

For those not clear, Hamas is an extremist Palestinian Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist organization. Their primary goal is to replace Israel with a Palestinian state. They have for decades led a call to action against Israel with attacks and suicide bombings. There recently has been video released to the internet showing Hamas allegedly staging a fake attack on Palestinians supposedly perpetrated by Israeli Armed Forces. In short, they intimidate by terror attacks, and they may be receiving funding thanks to the Canadian taxpayer.

Last Friday October 12th, Minister of International Development Marie-Claire Bibeau announced that Canada would send $50 million in the next two years to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). This is on top of the $110 million that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has committed to UNRWA since 2016.

UNRWA has been repeatedly accused of supporting extremism, promoting violence, and not checking beneficiaries against a list of known terrorists provided by the police.

The Canadian government said this money is meant to help pay for education and health services to Palestinians.

There is no law against providing funding to UNWRA. Given their reputation however, this handing off of taxpayers’ money is highly questionable.

In addition to providing this funding, the Trudeau government handed over millions of dollars to Islamic Relief Canada. Some of this money is forwarded to Islamic Relief Worldwide. IRW has repeatedly been linked to Hamas.

In a twisted version of money laundering, this aid is funneled though several various programs: International Humanitarian Aid Program (2017), M103 Islamophobia Funding (2018), Canada Summer Jobs Program (2017 and 2018), Myanmar Crisis Relief Fund/Islamic Relief (May 2018), Canadian Humanitarian Assistance Fund CHAF, Canada’s Humanitarian and Development Assistance to Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon, and Prime Minister Trudeau’s volunteer work and promotional video for Islamic Relief Canada.

Bottom line: If this is in fact proven to be true (this article is not directly accusing anyone of anything), then the entire Federal Liberal party should be subject to indictment under the Canadian Criminal Code which states:
“Facilitating terrorist activity
83.19 (1) Every one who knowingly facilitates a terrorist activity is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.
Marginal note:Facilitation
(2) For the purposes of this Part, a terrorist activity is facilitated whether or not
(a) the facilitator knows that a particular terrorist activity is facilitated;
(b) any particular terrorist activity was foreseen or planned at the time it was facilitated; or
(c) any terrorist activity was actually carried out.”
(2001, c. 41, s. 4.)

It is incumbent on Canadian citizens to demand an inquiry and investigation into this matter and to demand, if our money has indeed been used to facilitate acts of terrorism that charges in fact be laid against everyone involved. That would be every single member of the Federal Liberal party.
